vbs (vacation bible school)

Emmanuel partners with several local churches to put on a community VBS that reaches 150+ elementary school students each year!  VBS is always the first full week in June and runs for the morning hours with a hotdog lunch for all the families on Friday!

Trunk or treat

Emmanuel's parking lot is transformed into a great, family-friendly stop each October 31 as a way to love and connect with the Marion community.  Vehicles are decorated and candy is handed out at each one.  Children's games are often a part of the attractions, as well as free chili and cinnamon rolls for all!

operation christmas child (OCC)

OCC is a ministry of Samaritan's Purse that focuses on sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with children around the world through shoebox Christmas gifts.  Each year Emmanuel partners with this ministry by packing hundreds of shoeboxes to reach hundreds of kids with God's love in Christ.  The packing party and collection date are usually in mid-November.
